After the plants freazing, the leaves are decomposted and plants are totally dead. I was hoping maybe something with survive, but no chance. I checked the flower on the cut plants… now it is colorless and no seeds development inside. Also, it has been cold and dry but also not freezing anymore. and the hanging plants are not completely dry that I can bring it inside yet.
After this day, I got a very bad cold and could not go to the garden for few weeks. in the mean time, Berlin got a very cold winter, froze multiple times, temperature dropping under -10 degrees in the night. The dead indigo plants on the field and hanging harvest stayed like this for the whole winter, by accident.
