We get a sad news… The Jurte at the Eisabeet is vandalized. The glass on the door is completely shattered. The day before we found the door of the Tunnel/greenhouse slushed with knife. This was found on the Sunday the 11th. And now, the perpetrator came back again (probably at night) and took out the outer wall and broke the wood structure of the Jurte wall.
It is really sad. The Jurte is for everyone to use. On bad weather day, it becomes a playroom for kids, many workshops were held here the last years. There are nothing valuable inside, except the love people put in to build this together. The Tunnel, the tool shed and the farm wagon of the Elisabeet has been broken in many times in the past… mostly just to break-in and vandalize.
I realize, once we install the Natural Dye shed, for sure we will get break-in incidents. And the effort and dream you put in will be vandalized. I have to mentally prepare that this will happen, but it should not have a power to stop what we are proceeding. It is only just a few glasses and tools that they can break and steel after all.
