All Plants are Beautiful

The 2nd batch seedlings are still in baby state, but I noticed some of them that I added extra seeds is sprouting quite many in one pot. Melanie told us that it is better to reduce the seedlings number to 2-3 per pot. You can either pull out or chop the smaller seedlings to adjust the number. As pulling out risks injuring roots of others, I choose to chop the extra ones. It feels bad to chop it off as they are all beautiful!

I see also some roots coming out from the bottom of the pot. Probably it is the sign of them being healthy?

When I started these batch of seedlings, I covered the pots with plastic bags to keep them warm and moist. It worked out some way as they sprouted quite quickly, but I probably kept it a bit too long as the bag also reduces the sunlight. Melanie told us in the workshop that when the seedlings have too less sun, the stems grow very long and sometimes starts to bend to look for sunny side. This looks like exactly the example of “lack of sun”. I do tot know if there are something I can do from now to correct it. Probably it stays as is. Things to improve for the next year.
