After back and forth communication with a local hardware store’s personnel, I finally manage to order a small wooden Gartenhaus! The problem was that it was not clear if this Gartenhaus is sold with floor or not.. it turned out it is not and one has to order an extra floor (called Fußboden) of the matching size.
I was having a hard time making the decision on which of the Gartenhaus to buy, as there are different design for similar sizes… It turned out that only one of the model still has the matching floor available. The final decision was made easily.
Other arrangement I had to make is how this will be delivered to the garden. The package weighs 420kg! There are paved roads inside the Friedhof and it is possible to drive in with a vehicle to carry things. But it must be smaller than 7.5-ton size. We discussed this with the hardware store person as they usually deliver with a very big trucks. (or they have no control over which trucks will be used for deliveries). We made an arrangement that my order is first delivered to the hardware store, then we repack it to a smaller trucks with extra delivery cost. This solution costs more, but I needed to make sure that we do not suddenly face a big truck at the Friedhof entrance and left with a 420kg package. I hope the delivery goes smoothly. I am worried.
If everything works out, it will be delivered around the mid May and we can start building it.
This is how the similar model Gartenhaus is assembled. On the website, it says “easy to assemble”… but it looks like a lot of work to build this one. We will definitely need good battery powered hand drills.
