Rain and plants

June 24

I planted the 2nd batch indigo yesterday in the morning. Then in the afternoon, there was a strong wind and rain. Today, it again rained few times during the day. On one hand, the summery warmth and sunshine is gone. It is gray and chilly… typical Berlin weather. On the other hand, it is nice natural watering to the plants. Even just in one day, the baby plants look already a bit bigger. The indigo plants from May is definitely getting big, day by day. I did not think before that I start to appreciate the gray rainy days.

Tagetes and dyers camomile at the natural color garden are also growing big quickly. I am very much looking forward to see the flowers and dye with them.
