Transferring Indigo Workshop

On May 23 14:00 – we meet at 14:00 at the Elisabeet.

Workshop Leader: Melanie Mano from Ainisomatte.

This week, we plan to transfer the Persicaria Tinctoria seedlings to the field. It has been that has been growing in the Tunnel at Elisabeet for over a month now. At 14:00- Melanie will explain us how one should plan the space, type of soil and fertilizer that Persicaria Tinctoria needs, and how she transfers her plants. She will be talking from Japan via online at the beginning of this workshop. After we get the overview, we will get our hands dirty and practice what we learned at the color garden of the Elisabeet.

This is how the field is planned “theoretically”. The plants needs to be spaced for 30cm. The line is 70cm wide with 20cm space to walk. Let’s see if this theoretical plan works in practice.
