As the vat 2 is really not finishing the fermentation at the hütte and the weather is not getting warm, I brought back half (20L) of it to my home on the August 27th. It stayed in my bathroom, which is constantly above 20 degrees and mixed 1 time a day regularly… and magic! it starts to ferment after 4 days. In the mean time, I notice the rest of the vat 2 at the Hütte is also fermenting finally. ha, what is happening?! Is it quantum entanglement?! Anyways, I decided to bring back the half at home and marge it on the September 4th.
Transporting the vat is not easy as I do not have a car. I borrowed a cargo bike from a friend, packed the vat in water tight bucket and covered it with extra plastic bag so it does not leak by accident. I am a big fan of a cargo bike! it can transport big heavy things without a motor or gasoline!



After the two separated vat2 is marged. and voila! I see the nice hana bubble forming. The fermentation is done!
