F\u00e4rberkrapp\/ Madder\/ Rubia tinctorum<\/em> is here. As it is a bit tricky to grow from seeds (maybe we should try it next year anyways…) I ordered seedlings. It took a while to arrive, but 4 healthy seedlings are here with me. I hope to transfer to the Natural dye plants garden this week at the Mitmachetag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can dye red with the root of the F\u00e4rberkrapp. You will need to grow the plants few years before you can harvest roots. So, these plants are just the start of our ways to harvest red at the Elisabeet. Hopefully they adapt to the Elisabeet soil well and we can harvest the roots in few years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
