Persicaria Tinctoria is definitely growing well. Some got eaten in funny way, not sure what is eating them. But most of them are bug free and looks happy. As Melanie told us, even we did plant them deep and cover the stem a bit, it is starting to look wobbly and long necked.. It is time to do Tsuchi-yose\/ Earthing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cover the bottom 5cm with extra soil. I did not have fertilizer so I used compost soil to earth the stem. Hopefully this is giving them enough energy for growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I was tilling the field to prepare for the 2nd batch of the seedlings to be transplanted, I hit many hard things inside the ground and found many plastic, metal objects. Some of them are surprisingly big.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malou and Madlen came by. We replanted the Dyers camomile to the edge of the color garden next to the Krapp plants. Hopefully they grow high by the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Tsuchiyose\/earthing, I covered the between plants with fallen leaves we used for covering in winter. This will work a bit like Multi (hopefully) to keep the moisture and heat and prevent weeds from coming out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
