After a day in a city, we got back to the country side last night. and today we woke up with the sun! It may not look impressively sunny, but this is how sunny it gets here. It is the first sunny day we have here. We decided to take a day off and make an excursion to a nearby lake.
We came to the Dalens Kvarn mill by car and take a hike from here to the Dalens Damm lake.
The sun never gets up, though it is getting even clearer sky. I tested the water, it is pretty cold! I guess it is nice to come here for a swim in summer.
Walking in the woods, you find a lot of interesting shapes and patterns that nature makes. It is really fascinating to find them and study.
Christian and Ingo finds a tree that fell on the side way because it grew on a big stone and probably could not root enough. They pushed it up to let it stand again. Hopefully it stays like this… at least until the next windy day. We wonder if we are fixing the nature or just interfering… Perhaps we are a passer by just interacting with them.
It is 1:30pm and the day is already starting to finish. Northern winter day is very very short. it is time to go home and have a warm lunch.
