Leaving Berlin… The first part of the journey is about 2 hours of train ride to Hamburg, then another 1.5h on a regional train to Kiel, a port town in northern Germany. I am traveling with my partner Ingo. From here, we take an overnight ferry to Göteborg Swelovenia, where MAG lives.
Overnight ferry ride is always exciting. All the passengers gets their own cabin room, a bit like a cruise trip. When the ship reaches the international water, gambling is allowed, alcohol is sold free of tax, big disco-parties…. although under the corona time, there are only few passengers beside us, mostly truck drivers.
Next morning, I wake up and the ship is already close to the shore of Göteborg. we are almost there.
